ABOUT PHOTOGRAPHY BY BENTLEY

Bentley began his photography career in 1988. He started with a wedding for his sister in law and then a few friends weddings. From this Bentley started to photograph more weddings from word of mouth. When Bentleys daughter was playing T-ball, he started photographing their team portraits. Today this has escalated into a very large scope of sports photography for the entire area of Richmond including Henrico and Chesterfield county.

Bentley was married in 1979 and has two children. His daughter, Candice, twirled baton nationally and cheered for L. C. Bird high school and V.C.U. His son, Bentley, is taking photography at L. C. Bird and is a member of their award winning marching band. Bentleys wife, Pam, helps with the running of their studio and accompanies him on various shoots.

Bentley primarily handled everything from their home. In the summer of 2000, Bentley and his wife decided to open a studio location to handle the increasing volume. With the latest in technology for medium format and digital photography, Photography by Bentley has launched a new era for fine portraiture.
